Graphics Card went out

Well, if my weekend hasn't been great enough, I've been sick for 3 days now with a sinus infection. My graphics card went out on my computer while I was playing a video game. The game froze, and then closed with an error. I have tried everything to get the PC to recognize the card with no success. I just had to dish out $400 for a replacement card to come in the mail tomorrow.
