Do you think it's a good idea to bump threads around a certain time each day? Like, for example bumping the thread exactly at 3pm or the sort. If so, when do you bump threads?

I don't know. I think you might need to check the members list and their timezones to find out which timezone has most of your members, and post accordingly!

I think it would always be best when that community you are promoting on is most active however I have not done it before but sounds like it is best because more people would pick up on the topic.

I don't really have a set time for when I go and 'bump' my promotion topics, I just try and keep it up to date every 24-48 hours, depends on their bumping rule. It's always best to keep your topic at the top, which I try to. I tend to bump all of my promotion topics at once though so I will spend around 10-20 minutes doing that. :)

Neither have I. I try to do it in random times!
