Getting paid to edit scripts for movies/tv

Is there any way to get paid to edit scripts for movies and tv? Either it be to help proofread scripts for indie films or something. Is there anything like this out there? I'd love to work in films, and I think helping with the writing could be a fun way to get in.

Scriptwriting was one of my subjects in my creative writing class, I wrote a lot of scripts for films, ads, as well as TV as a part of my curriculum. However, I have never sold any scripts. I do not know how it goes in other countries, however, in my home country script writing and script editing jobs are available only through personal recommendation. If you know someone who is in the industry, you will be able to get a job
