From time to time, you may come across people who will pop along to your site and send you a message asking if your site is up for sale, even when it isn't! Whilst I am sure many people would find this flattering, how do you cope with people who do such a thing?

I personally would just tell them that the site isn't for sale at this current time and hope they go on their merry way.

This.
Obviously they like the site so it's a compliment, a friendly decline suffices.

No Haze, i am starting a site and working on it not to sell....so if my site don't perform well and some one is asking to buy..i won't

It doesn't mean you have to sell it.. Surely if they're enquiring to buy your site then you have succeeded in a lot of areas within your site.

It's tricky. It depends on whether the offer is worth it and whether you believe you're ready to move on. I'd consider selling but IF I ever manage to make my first site that earns a monthly income, I probably won't be selling it. :)

Hell, if I could get big bucks off of a site I don't want to work at anymore hell yeah!

But seriously, I probably wouldn't sell if the place means something to me. Unless they are offering a ridiculous amount, then it's go time.

I offer 20 million yen for WGBB, contact my solictor with your response and I will push the paper-work through.
