Gender balance at the workplace

Do you care about gender balance at your workplace, as an employer as well as employee? Well, I do not give much attention to gender balance. As an employer, I care about qualified staff, and as an employee, I only care about salary and perks.

I care much more about delivery and competency when it has to do with business or work. For me, gender balance cannot be a worry thing to bother about.

What if your country has a law where it asks you to have gender balance or have at least some percent of jobs reserved for certain gender? Even though I also agree that work is mainly about competence sometimes you also need to be politically correct. Don't you agree?
