As a graphic designer, i prefer Adobe product more than any other. Its not free but it helps you to deliver the high quality image. GIMP is also good it as compare to the Adobe it have less feature and hard to learn

These still actually get the job done, but the issue is that they aren't meant for that very professional usage like Photoshop and other popular softwares do

Open canvas is a good app. I know that gimp is also good app for beginners, I prefer Adobe too, I have worked with it in the past . Getting video tutorial online on how to operate these apps can also be helpful.

Why is Adobe not included, still the best for me, I was expecting you to mention canva just for those who need to create quick graphics and for some beginners. Pixlr and chibipaint are quite effective as well. Thanks for sharing.

These are some good programs. But, I share the opinion of people above with the fact that Photoshop is probably better with the quality.

In my opinion, adobe photoshop and corel draw are still best to make high resolution graphics. I usually work on adobe because i love to use it. My sister is working on corel draw & the points & features she told me in corel, are giving me inspiration to learn it.

When in the process of making industry leading graphics, nobody sides with photoshop, because its not made to conserve quality, that is the main sell point of that software, sure , with recent updates it has become more friendly , but its original purpose was retouching images and not creating graphics , and depending on if you know what you are doing or not, it may not produce the best quality possible

I prefers photoshop and corel draw above those mentioned, cause its very easy to use and delivered great work done. Thanks for sharing those also. Thou, I haven't use it before but I will try it out later.

When you talk of free software you can easily use in making your graphics design, I personally will suggest Corel draw and Photoshop
It can be used in your computer. It is easy to learn and easy to navigate and create new designs

GIMP is often called free photoshop. True indeed, GIMP is very powerful graphic designing tool. You can download free and work on it offline. It is an open source platform therefore, you may not find it as good as Photoshop, or might even experience glitch. The only thing I don't like about GIMP is its floating screen.

Adobe is very good or probably the best, though I also like working with corel draw, it allows for flexibility and it gives a lot of options, you can also try canvas, it is very cool, it will only need basic knowledge to be able to navigate through the app.

You could go for blender I'd you are a struggling designer, blender is free. No need to let the lack of funds or financial climate get in the way of your creativity

Vecteezy is a free, in-program online editorial manager, which permits you to alter and redo Vecteezy's current vectors or make vector plans without any preparation. It's unbelievably simple to utilize and is shockingly incredible for a free device, with console easy routes and progressed changes incorporated into the list of capabilities. As a newbie graphics designer who just want to learn the art of graphics designing the best tools to use for personal computer is Adobe Photoshop, Corel draw and Adobe Indesign. However, you need to know that the software you will be using here will depend on the type of graphics you will be doing and other phone design app is canva and it works effectively.

I prefer Adobe Illustrator the most for graphic designing because it is also free and you can do all kinds of graphic designing and on this every kind of tools available for making graphics design.

Canva is one of the Free software you can use to do design graphic. It comes with the free version which you can use free without paying. But there is a limitation on some of the good features you can use on it. if you want to maximize it you can upgrade to the paid version so that you can do a lot of work. but if you're really serious about this graphic design then I will advise you to go and get premium software in order to render a quality service.
