Just like free hosted blogs, there are also a lot of platforms to build free hosted forums, for example, proboards, forumotion, etc. Have you tried any of these free-hosted forum platforms to create your community?

The inconvenient of forumotion is that they doesn't support cryptocurrencies for pay for hosting and only supports Skrill or Stripe which seems to me very hard to earn balance on those platforms to upgrade to premium package and order a domain name for 51 euros. If they was supporting Coinbase checkout I may pay from my Coinbase earning I have over 150 dollars on Coinbase one stored as cryptocurrencies.
Proboards inconvenient doesn't support buy domain name from platform like ForumOtion one. Did you try Proboards yourself or ForumOtion?

I have the plan to establish my own forum later this year but I would like to start with free hosted forum and I will need your guidance.

I have not tried free forums, since I have plenty of domains, and also webhosting accounts for hosting the forum, only I do not have enough time.

Best free forums providers as mentionned are ProBoards and ForumOtion.
For ProBoards it is just to set up plugins after installation.
For ForumOtion then you just go to Hitskin, choose a theme and create your board with.

I've tried a number in the past, and generally tend to stick to only a couple of them that aren't generic hosts using free to download software that I can customize more on my own host anyways. My first go to one is ProBoards. Been participating in their beta program for their next version.
