Yes, forum posting is helpful in terms of getting more traffic. Many people are active on forums these days. Forums creates awareness for users.

Of course, when people can air their views or give their opinion on matters on a forum, it makes it more of a community somewhat and once people feel part of a society or project, they'll keep coming back.

If would help to generate traffic considerably and if the post made by the members are SEO friendly, then you are definitely on the right track to generating significant traffic to your website.

If you create a forum on a directory of your site and open the forum for posting, you can build traffic on your site. You can even promote your website content on the forum you hvae built within your primary domain.

I am a firm believer that forum posting and advertising your site in either your profile or say your signature if the forum owner allows it really does help with bringing traffic to your site. I also find if you use forums that allow members to promote their own sites either in a directory or just in a dedicated forum that can also help as well in bringing traffic to your site.

While forum posting has the potential to create traffic, it ought not to be counted on solely to drive traffic to a website. In the longterm, other techniques such as SEO optimization and content production may be more effective.

It depends on the niche. I think it was more valuable 10 years ago but since social media platforms took off, there is less value in doing it. I would say posting on places like Twitter end up doing more in the long run.

Sometimes search is about a keyword that could be found on a user reply and displays on the search result so it is good for bring traffic and it is a good procedure.

Forum posting can be an effective strategy for generating traffic to a website, but it depends on how it's done. It has some pros and cons.

  • Pro: Forums can attract a large audience interested in a particular topic or niche, which can lead to increased visibility and traffic to your website.
  • Con: Posting low-quality or spammy content can harm your reputation and result in penalties from search engines.

It depends on the forum but I think it's a good source of traffic for various niches. It helps optimize keywords for various websites and that could drive traffic to linked landing pages.

If you participate in forums that are relevant to your niche and provide valuable insights and information, it can help establish you as an authority in your field and drive traffic to your website. However, if you spam forums with irrelevant or low-quality content, it can harm your reputation and potentially lead to penalties from search engines.

It can certainly help to keep your site active, and can help draw outside traffic to it.

But, you need to find the right niche that matches your site or forum, otherwise it's probably pointless.

An effective approach to driving traffic to your website is through forum posting. You can tailor your posts to themes that aren't receiving a lot of attention in search engines by engaging in forums that are relevant to your niche and obtaining a variety of backlinks.
