Have you ever been forced to fire someone you didn't want to fire? Maybe you're a supervisor or manager and are in charge of hires. Have you ever been forced to fire someone you liked working with? Maybe it was due to downsizing or they didn't see the employee up to their standards. I've never been forced to fire someone I didn't like, but if I did, I don't know if I could. How do you fire an employee you like and respect? Essentially, how to you tell them without them possibly lashing out?

Well, this has not happened to me, in my entire life, I have fired just one person and I think I took the right decision by firing this guy. Despite multiple warnings, this guy continued to appear in the workplace drunk. I did feel sad after firing him, though. But I did not have choice.
