Fighting a legal battle for a wrong cause

Would you fight a legal battle for a wrong cause? I mean would you still fight in court when you know you have done wrong? I see a lot of people fighting cases in court for the wrong reasons. They are either doing it for their vanity or financial benefits. However, I will never fight a case if I know I am wrong. I will fight the legal battle only for the right cause.
