This business model is a very risky Business model because developing my products and sending them to Amazon for them to sell on my behalf is quite risky as they may not remit the rightful sale to me.

I have had of this business model before the product don't necessarily mean the one you produce yourself. You may buy from China from your country and your shipping destination will be Amazon warehouse and they will sell the product for the price you have fixed and take their commission and remit your money to you.
