When I read, I do not particularly select any gender, however, because of their ubiquity, I have read more male writers than female writers. In fact, among my 5 best authors, one of them are females. However, I have also ready a lot of female writers from Mary Shelly and Jane Austen to Stephenie Meyer and J. K. Rowling. Do you have any favorite female writers?
