Fake Traffic Generators?

Anyone uses fake traffic generators??
I have used one traffic generator called iframe-x
But I don't think its worth it. Your alexa traffic rank may increase, but still its not a good idea in my opinion, as only traffic will come, no real visitors.

Once one of my website got infected because of this iframe code.
So I never tried it again.

I would never touch such a thing. What webmaster would have to fake statistics? You're fooling yourself and your members really, you'll get no real benefit!

You will be temped to increase alexa rank if you're planning to sell a website.
but lesson learned, never using it again!

Personally, I don't rank Alexa at all lol. Obviously, it does have some effect but I just don't see it as a mainstay thing to look at when you are selling a website.
Good that you learnt though, I definately would after getting a nice infection! Haha.

The thing is that they would ask you where your traffic came from, it wouldn't really work at all.

I would never user anything like this, I don't see the point in it. I want members, posts and an overall great community which that doesn't help at all.
