Facebook IP Violations?

Today, I heard something strange from my friend about how his Facebook group that have more than 5k members was taken down as a result of Facebook's IP Violations. He already tried contacting Facebook support to know why and for them to explain exactly what they meant by IP Violations but got no reply.

Does anyone have similar experience with Facebook IP Violations? Did you manage to get your group back?

Is he the person controlling that group? If so, I'm sure they got a notification of what IP they violated. If he is simply a user, does he/she feel entitled to being told why? Honestly, FB has no obligation (and I would not expect them to have one either) to tell a user of a group what the violation might have been. The group admins and the person that posted the violating content - yes. But other users...

And I doubt if they suspended it for only one violation. Odds are there were a history of it.

I'm not sure but I think he's the person who owns the group or something but I'm going to ask him to check and see whether there was a notification about what happened and any further details to it.
