September 27th google pushed a new update to their algorithms. It is called exact match domain (EMD) algorithm update.

What this means is google is no longer depending on the domain name to give your website a higher rank. Well this just sucks, atleast for me, the traffic to coolfacts.in dropped, from around 1500 visitors/day to 300visitors/day!

What do you think about this update?

Not a great thing. They only just changed to rely on exact domain matches too :/ hate Google and their updates to make things hard.

Anyway I have submitted my site for reconsideration to google.

The thing is every time they update their algorithm, my website traffic will drop. Each and every time. This is frustrating to see. if they think my site is of low quality they could simply permanently drop my SERPs. But no.

As soon as their update comes, my traffic will drop and then gradually it will gain good serps. But then again their update will come and the shit happens all over again! :-/

BTW today I noticed a good thing, some of the referrers were from Bing Search. I think I have pretty good SERPs in Bing! :D

It is annoying how they keep changing for us admins. They need to pick something that works and keep it like that. Good luck in getting it back up there :)
