Ever Organized Posting Contest on Your Forum?

I have participated on many posting contests on numerous forums, I have even won posting contests multiple times. However, I have never done it on my forums. Have you ever organized posting contest on your forum? While organizing posting contest, what were you aiming? Getting more activities, getting traffic, generating revenue, what else? Were you able to meet your goal?

There has been a couple forums I did this on. Haven't done it in a long time, maybe I'll change that and start some up soon. Could be fun.

Posting contest is good as long as you get Contestants that are going to post high quality contents on your forum.
