Ever land a better job after your first interview?

Did you ever land a much better job after your first interview? Maybe you went in for a certain job, and you impressed the interviewer so much that they considered you for a better job. That's never happened to me, but it would be so cool if it ever did.

When I applied for my first job, I was already earning as a freelance writer. However, I was not accepted for the job, they never called me for an interview. The first job interview I had was a success, I was hired but I gave up the job as it did not suited my personality.
