Some people are willing to travel for their work if needed, but not everyone is. Have you ever been forced to travel for work? Maybe it's a work assignment where you have to do a meeting in another location. Maybe you have to fly there and stay there a week. Was there ever a time where your job forced you to do so?

There are a few jobs where you are supposed to travel. For example, there are a few marketing jobs where you may need to travel in order to market and promote products. I do not like such kind of jobs, however, there are a few people who do like such jobs.

I worked for one job for at least a week. They were called Hyla and they sold vacuums. It was solely commission, so there was no weekly pay. They wanted me to drive 6 hours out of town to see a customer. The travel would be coming out of my own pocket. I decided that the job was not worth the time or the stress, so I quit without putting in my 2 weeks.

There are a few companies that offer commissions and they do not have a fixed salary. I was also offered such kind of job that required me to travel. It required me to visit different areas and sell bulbs. They offers basic salary and commissions as well. However, I rejected that job offer.

Yes. It can be a difficult situation to be in. It can be hard to leave behind family and friends, especially if the travel is for an extended period of time. It can also be difficult to adjust to a new place and culture. However, there can also be some benefits to traveling for work, such as gaining new experiences and making new connections.

There are many people who have to travel to different cities and they have to manage many different things themselves. This may also include expenses related to travelling on your own. Having said that, most of the businesses offer travelling allowances and this is a great thing.

I have been forced to travel for work twice. The first time I was asked to travel I complied as I was given really good traveling allowances. However, the second time I was asked to travel, I refused. The employer threatened to fire me, and before he could fire I quit the job.

Unfortunately yes, I have been forced to travel for a job and it was when I was working for a sex toy company as the business manager.

There was a time we needed to set up a new branch in our Federal Capital Territory Abuja, I was the one that was forced to go and set up the new store from start to finish. It took me about two months for me to complete the project.
