Ever fight with a business over an idea you implemented?

Lets say you come up with a new idea to help the business you work for grow bigger. But the idea was yours and yours only. Lets say your boss loves the idea and implements it, but when they bring it up again, they take credit or leave you out of it. Has this sort of thing ever happened to you? I fear this happening to me, as I love giving tips and ideas, but hate not being given credit for my ideas.

What would you do if your boss and the company didn't recognize you for your idea?

I have never fought with any businesses or individuals over a business idea. That's because I am not an innovator, and I have never invented my own unique product and service. However, if I ever invent something, I will parent so that I can sue someone if they abuse my intellectual property.
