Have you ever bet on sports in your lifetime? My brother used to bet on American Football a lot, but I don't know if he was ever successful in making a lot of money. I've thought about betting on sports myself, but I don't like wasting money on a risk/reward scenario. It never goes the way you hope it to.

I have never done that and never will. Such practices corrupt good sportsmanship and bring bad name to that particular sport. Cricket is one such game and I Iost interest in that game because of the betting and setting involved.

Yes, I was betting on sports for more than a year and a half, and honestly, although I had very good streaks, I also had very bad streaks, and if I take balance, I ended up losing money, not a very large amount, but an amount that really could have been used in a better way, I could consider that at that time I was a gambling addict.

You understood my predicament well. There's nothing like fail proof prediction in sports. Everything might be going so well to plan and before you know what's happening, something will occur like injury or red card which will twist the direction of the game against you.

So as long as you are betting, you should have the conclusion in your mind that you have already lost the money, so if you happen to win, then you are lucky.

I have read a report that some of these big guys that own sport betting companies plan on fixing some matches. The goal is always to make their customers lose more when it is weekend. Since I read such reports, I stopped following those that bet and even stop betting entirely to avoid wasting money.

They are entrepreneurs, what do you expect from them? They are in the business to make money for themselves. They will definitely give some wins out just to keep their gamblers motivated to keep betting because when no one wins, everyone else is going to lose interest.

The simple truth is that you are definitely going to lose more money in playing bets than you can ever make money from it. This is the reality most people who are addicted to gambling fail to understand. This is because once they really do, I don't think any of them would consider betting at something reliable to depend on.

I realized there is this spirit of hopes and confidence that will be like "do you know if this your chance to get all your money back, one last time won't kill you know 😁😂😂".

Unfortunately, the one last time trial is never going to end because it is something that they are going to keep repeating over and over again until they are completely out of money. I know a lot of people whom have been rendered useless as a result of this.
