What do you think is required in order to establish a small park on a small bit of land that you own? A friend of mine has a bit of land near a residential area with lots of people, he noticed there are lots of kids in the area who have to walk to a park further in town. So my friend realized he has this bit of land left over and wasn't going to do anything with it, so figured he would establish a town park so that the kids can have something extra to do. He wants to install a decent slide, jungle gym, basketball hoop and a few other things. It's a decent sized bit of land.
I figure a permit to make it a park would need to happen. As well they probably need to safeguard the area so kids don't get hurt. What else do you think would be needed to establish a small park in a residential area?
