I am getting the error message,

for the wordpress blog which I have. Does anyone know how to fix the problem. The webhosting company is not responding till date.

You need to restart the apache server and also restart MySQL if access is provided.

The webhosting company has upgraded their cpanel and this website was using a very old version of cpanel, wordpress database, I will reinstall elsewhere

Did you encouter any problem when reinstalling like lost data or access or everything was fine? Please describe your experience.

If you have migrated your website to a new server recently, you might encounter database error. If you are not very technical person, you need to ask your host to solve the issue.

You seem to constantly have issues with WordPress; according to your previous posts. Have you considered switching to a host that has a fully supportive help desk?
