When you host your website, do you host with the company where you registered your domain, or choose another hosting company. I registered my domains with namecheap and I have hosted my 15 websites with namecheap hosting.

I sort of do a mix. I will buy domains at namecheap and sometimes buy them at my own host, USHost247. 90% of the time I can get them cheaper through my own.

That is shrewd investment for you, since you bought domain via your own web hosting services UShost247 with a discount of 90% compared to namecheap and other domain flipping sites.

Maybe it will be easier to manage your domain and website of the domain registrar and web host are the same

That's correct, when you have domains and web hosting from the same company, it will be easier to manage. I have all of my domains and also the website hosting on namecheap.

When I am ready to launch my website, I will register my domain and buy hosting from the same company. I am looking for a company that provides free domain when I pay hosting fees.

Namechep does not offer free domain, but you can get a huge discounts on domain and hosting. iPage offers free domain but I do not know what's their hosting charge.

In have checked namecheap hosting packages. The first year cost is quite low, but the renewal charges are really high.

The basic idea behind the discounted first year charges is to allow website owners to gain experience without spending a lot of money. If you are seriously, you will recover your investment in the frst year

Unless I'm getting a free domain from my hosting company, I will always buy and keep my domain with a separate company that tends to specialise in domains. Usually, you will get much better deals and discounts from a coupon that focuses mainly on domains such as Namecheap whereas their hosting offers may not be as good.

With our office website we have a contractor that made the design. That contractor was also the one who handled the hosting and the domain name registration. The hosting is a different company and the contractor is just a customer although they can do the operation faster because they know the hosting provider already.

You can register with a different company and decide to host with any other company too, it's allowed. You can also move the domain name from one registrar to another.

I registers mine from the same company. I just wanted to have everything in place that is why I choose to do it that way. It makes things concerning managing my site easier and more efficient

My cousin brother who is into website designing and coding has told me the importance of using one domain to host your website and also to register your domain as this will make it much easier for your website to operate more effectively and efficiently.

Either way is okay but I think it's better when both transactions are carried out in the same place so as to keep all the activities in the same place. Sometimes you can be given some discount performing both transactions in the same place.

Choosing company like Namecheap, bluehost is ideal for both hosting and domain registration. No need for running up and down trying to buy differently.

You can choose companies like ipage, hostgator, namecheap etc. to register your domains and also host your website. I also believe that there is not need to run to diferent companies for hosting and domain registrations.

I plan to upgrade my free website before the end of this year and I will probably need a trusted hosting company. I would like to register it with the company hosting it.

I think registering a domain and hosting from the same company is better because you can easily manage your domain and hosting from from the same dashboard.

I have always done and also liked my domain registration and web hosting from the same company. I don't like having things about my websites from different platforms that is the reason why I get it from the same platform
