When you are building a website, you naturally look for a web host to run your site. While it may be easy to place blame on your web host, most security incidents originate from security gaps such as vulnerable plugins and themes on your own website. But webhost can also affect your website security and it is important to understand how, so that you can ensure that your website is entirely secure.

It is your duty to provide maximum security for your website and prevents hacker from penetrating into the website to take over a period where hunting is good for backing up files on your side.

Yes the webhosting provider provides security for our server. It's their duty to provide maximum security for the website to prevent hackers

Web hosts provide some sorts of server security but it is your duty t buy Dedicated Servers or Cloud hosting to host your website on more secured servers. You should never depend on hosting company for security.

The web hosting I am using for my website provide some level of security for my website. But I also use personal security plugins on my website to protect penetration from hackers.

The truth is they do provide security for the servers you host your website on. However you have to make sure that hosting servers you are using are secure and also do some site security yourself.

The Web hosting company truly provides security and prevent hackers from penetrating your website. It's also your duty to put security measures in place inorder to further strengthen your security apparatus.

when you make a site / forum etc, you are looking for a host with all the advantages, to be as good as possible. I have not had any problems so far with any attack.

Well to me to secure your website you need to purchase a web hosting and a very good hosting this will help to prevent hackers from penetrating through the website

For now, I've experienced bluehost and I'm currently satisfied with their security that they provide.
They're one of the best out there and with a great affiliate program to go with it, I'm more than happy with them

Security is not their main focus
When it comes to hosting, you get what you pay for. ... It's important to understand that hosting companies are in the hosting business, not in the security business. To make sure you can prevent malware infections and block fake traffic, you need a web application firewall

Web hosting provider some basic security for your website. If your website contain sensitive informations it will be very good to step ahead and engage in advanced security for a website. If you are using wordpress you can install wordfence to increase the security of the website and prevent external penetration.
