Does your country have bribery laws?

When it comes to carrying out business activities or any other kind of financial activity, many people usually encounter many corrupt officials who may try to take bribe from you. This is why there are many countries that may have anti-bribery laws. So, when it comes to your country, do you have any such laws in existence?

Of course, the US has very serious laws for it imagine. I don't know much about bribery laws in the US or anywhere else, but I do know it's illegal and considered a crime.

Bribery is treated as corruption and both, the giver and receiver will be booked by law. Depending on the nature of bribery and the amount involved, they will be sent to jail, fined, or both.

Bribery is a very serious case in my country but it's only a case against those who are not in power. Our politicians are always engaging in acts of bribery and corruption but they are never touched. Criminals in my country run into politics to get cover from the law.
