Does your business accept donations from customers?

If you run a business, do you ever accept donations from customers or the local community? Or maybe from online donations as well? I think it's fine to take in donations, but I wouldn't overdo it. I think using crowdfunding is an option for businesses looking to try new things, and help them grow too. Do you accept donations? If so, what do you use the donations toward? Making the business better? Helping to pay employees?

I received government grants for one of my offline businesses, the grant was for infrastructure development. I ended up spending more than what I received as grants. I have also received donations for my online business, but it was very small amount.
