Does Turning Off Forum Post Counts Effect Overall Board Post Count?

Hey..
I am wanting to know if turning off certain forum post counts effect the overall post count for the board.

What im meaning is that i have a forum called "Posting Games",
I have set my forum so that when members post in this forum, their post count does Not increase.
But does the overall post count at the bottom of my forum index page still increase when they post in the "Posting Games" forum?

Cany anybody let me know?

Well that will depend on your forum software... I believe, unless things have changed, that MyBB counts those posts http://community.mybb.com/thread-72704.html Hope that helps

Which codes? The ones from the mod? Forgive me but I am a little ignorant as to how phpbb mods are installed never having used the software myself...

No, the setting to turn off certain members/forums post counts is in the permissions

Ah Well that modification seems to be the fix to it.... if it works for your version of Phpbb... Take a look at the screenshot

and if if works.. Can you please log out & then log back in & let me know if it allows you to stay logged in when you di it?

just a couple of mins ago, my forum started logging me out straight away after logging in,
