Do you use niche domains?

Niche domains are the domains that specifically use niches, for example, dot biz for business, dot tv for Television, dot blog for blogs, dot forums for forums, dot accountant for account niche websites, dot store for online stores, etc. Have you used niche domains?

I've not heard of them. Do they have any advantage other than being easily identifiable as being related to that particular niche?

I know of location domains and would like to use .Ng for mine since I'm targeting local Nigerians.
