I know there are chat options for sites where people can chat with real people to help with their problems. But there are also automated chatbots run by bots or AI that will chat with the customers. Usually it only does basic things, like responding to questions about the site, service, etc. When it is asked something it doesn't understand, it then gives you the option to reach out via email.

Do you use chatbots on your site for any support need?

I have never used chatbots for my sites. Well, I do not think my blogs and forums need chatbots. I have online stores, which I think could have chatbots to welcome visitors and answer some generic queries. However, I am yet to consider using chatbots. I mainly provide support through telegram. At this moment, I do not want to increase my website running cost.

At the moment I do not use any chatbots on any of my sites as at the moment, I do not feel it would be something that would be beneficial to the sites that I have open.

If there are any issues I am available to be contacted and so is also my other half and admin on all sites as well which I feel is enough at the moment.

Chatbots can help automate certain tasks, provide instant responses to frequently asked questions, and assist with basic inquiries or information requests. Even without direct sales, a chatbot can enhance user experience by offering quick and convenient assistance, saving time for both the website owner and visitors.

Every professional site needs to have that since it can answer most obvious quistions without waiting a lot

No, that's not how chat bots works. It's only going to be able to answer the questions you have made provision for it to answer with the response you have set in already. Any questions that's not predetermined for it to answer will not get any valid response.
