If you run a popular business in your local community, do you ever try to get more funding from said community? Maybe you host a fundraiser to help with your company costs. Or maybe you rely on a kickstarter for your community to support whatever it is you want to do.

Kickstarter or other popular crowdfunding programs do not work here, I have often tried to get funding from my community but it vain. It is really difficult to get funding. However, I have borrowed money frequently from community based co-operatives.
