Do you think Telegram will one day overtake Whatsapp?

WhatsApp is the number 1 messaging app in the world, that's nothing new to anyone, but there is a social network that is keeping track of it closely and it is growing a lot and more and more, and it is Telegram, although Telegram is a slightly different messaging application and many accuse it of being nothing more than a big black market, I think it has the potential to at least match WhatsApp in the long run, what do you think? Will it one day surpass WhatsApp or equal it in users?

Well, while the new unique features is mind blowing compared to WhatsApp, it faces challenges like its reputation for hosting black markets. The main thing I guess actually ties also on its ability to address these issues and attract a broader user base.

I don't see that happening. Whatsapp is owned by tech giant Meta and meta is trying to make whatsapp more popular by allowing people to use it directly through fcebook
