Do you think affiliate marketing is easy?

A lot have been said about affiliate marketing and how it's one of best ways to make money online. It's been said that once you have successfully set your affiliate marketing links/program, you can easily sleep and be making. But I can't help it notice that even with all that, most people aren't into affiliate marketing, so why is that?

If affiliate marketing is so good and pays well, why isn't so many people taking on the project?

Affiliate marketing is just like any other. It's a rough business. You got to know what you're doing and, more than likely, you need money to make money. For example, you need a lot of capital and even that is not a sure thing. You have to use the money wisely.

Building up a following on social media and also getting traffic to your site is the difficult part as well as the best way to approach your traffic to get them to buy through your affiliate links. That is the tough part and that is why I feel many instead don't bother to try or they give up too soon because they realize how much work they have to put in before they see any success.

Yeah, the ads encouraging people to join affiliate programs are a bit misleading. They make it sound like easy money. Well, they should be honest.

However, if you do not have traffic on your website or do not have a lot of followers, affiliate marketing is difficult. It all depends on the size of your audience.
