C. Ronaldo scored a goal this week in an international match for Portugal. He is 38 and still playing at the highest level even after achieving a lot as a team and individual player. Do you think he can play till he is 40?

Someone like Ronaldo I can definitely see playing football until he is 40 and past that. He seems to be energetic and also very fit as well and that will be good for him as the years go by.

Will we see him retire one day? Of course but I think he still has quite a lot of years left in the tank yet before he does.

I have seen him rush off after games to rest his muscles and start preparing for the next game. That is how champions behave, and this is what I like about him. The zeal to keep doing what he should do to win. When it comes to taking care of himself, Ronaldo has done an amazing job.

According to reports, Ronaldo is desperate to play at the 2026 World Cup. By then, he'll be 41. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, he'll play at the Euros in Germany next summer at the age of 39 years and four months. If he isn't injured and he continues to score on regular occasions, there is a huge possibility he'll play beyond 40. Afterall, Zlatan Ibrahimovic played beyond 40 too.

I think he will continue to play a little after 40, he is in very good physical shape and continues to score goals wherever he goes and play decently, he also loves football and competitiveness, and I think he wants to continue playing and showing what he is worth, I honestly don't know what he will do after he retires, I guess going into business and continuing to open companies

Cristiano Ronaldo is already 38 years old right now and he is still actively playing in Saudi Arabia League. He is currently the highest goal scorer in the league and with the way things are going, I believe that he's going to end up being the best player of the year in their league.

I don't think Cristiano Ronaldo is slowing down in his football career. It is very much possible for him to even play after he's 40 years old.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been my best player ever since he started playing for Manchester United from 12 August 2003. Ronaldo joined Manchester United from Sporting CP. And up till date I still pick him over any player, I think Cristiano Ronaldo has the tendency of playing till his mid 40s if given the chance. He has been wonderful and will always be

Ronaldo is great player I see Ronaldo playing at 42 and be on is good shape Ronaldo is a player that keep himself in a good shape and next generation look up to him he is the greatest goats of all time

Even after Christian Around that went to Saudi Arabia to join his new football club Al-Nassr FC, he has made it very clear that he is never going to retire from playing football until his one the Saudi Pro League for his club Al-Nassr FC. He's still very hungry to win.
He is an incredible player with an unusual ambition, everything that has moved this player towards glory has been solely his ambition and hard work, that is why I admire him so much above many other players like Messi whom I see as more talented but not as ambitious and hardworking as CR7, it's impressive.

What I found out about Cristiano Ronaldo which made it very clear to me that he is still hungry as if he is still 20 years old is how he celebrate every single goal that he has scored when playing football. This is someone who is close to scoring 1,000 goals but he is still celebrating each like it is his first goal.

Because it is clear that he likes what he does, and he still has the same ambition as when he was young, honestly, I don't see him retiring soon. He also has a prodigious and well-worked physique, which I think will give him the strength to play soccer many more years at a level similar to now, let's hope so.

Exactly! Scoring goals is what's making him very happy and he is committed to being in a fine shape to make sure that he is not going to have any injuries that will slow him down playing football. It's been a very long time since I heard that he was injured playing football and that is something extra-ordinary for someone at the age of 38 years.

Yes, I see Cristiano Ronaldo playing for the next 2 years because it's what he needs to become 40 years. He is strong, healthy, committed and happy in Saudi Arabia playing for Al Nassr FC. He lost his happiness playing for Manchester United but he has recovered it.

I am a big fan of this sport and I follow the career of Ronaldo and he inspires me a lot that he can still play at this age but at the age of 40 I am not sure that he will be an active player but I am sure that he will definitely not end his career, maybe he will be released only score penalties lol)
