The free company I use for one site - utilizes a forum for help. This is the trade-off for unlimited free hosting maybe. Anyway, I don't think a lot of people need much help, just like they don't for forum software etc.. Do you absolutely have to have one-on-one support?

With me personally, I don't need direct one on one support, unless there is a major issue. Most of the time, I would rather ask publicly and wait for a good response, than ask privately and have to play the waiting game with support.

It depends really, I know that major people wouldn't need help however you going to get those kinds of people who are new and or might not understand something, I think it does help if those people do need help that they get help :)

Me, I don't need much help but at times contacting them regards enable or changing something in the settings that you do not have the powers to do so on shared based hosting. Not many free-hosting gives you support anyway. But at times it's good to have it.

If it's just a matter of using control panel to run a few queries, we don't need a one-to-one support.
Of course, it's a little easy for me as I am a software engineer. I know a few folks, who don't know anything and they pay a lot, to some developer to maintain their website. If something goes wrong, they wouldn't know what to do.

During those times, a one-to-one support is needed to such website owners as they wouldn't give out the FTP credentials to the developers.

I need one on one support. I cannot wait for the support for hours when I am battling with issues. However, one on one support is not needed much. In my 5 years of hosting with this company, I can really count how many times I asked for support.

Yes, the Cpanel has functions for the potential support that the user may need. But to be honest, I had difficulty in using the panel that I always call our tech support for our technical issues. Maybe if there is a one-on-one support that is interactive then I guess that is good. In online access of some businesses their video chat support is not working interactively that you will wait for an hour or so to receive a response.

It depends, i depend on little bit help and in the conversation about bizdustry as well by asking or taking suggestion you get confidence and satisfaction. But o don't bither too much abiut helping.

I need one-on-one support. I may just about $500 per year for domain renewal and hosting renewal to my domain register cum hosting provider. Since I am paying a lot of money, I need a good support.

I will always appreciate a one-on-one support on any website or forum that i found myself because a one-on-one support system would afford me the quick resolution of my queries and concerns.

Depends on what kind of services you have subscribed and what kind of products you have purchased. If you have bought Dedicated Server, you need one on one service
