Remittances refer to the payments or money sent by workers who live abroad. Usually, there are no taxes on remittances. However, in case if a person sends a really huge amount of money, then I think that the government tries to get its own cut. So, is this really the case?

In our country, you have to pay taxes on remittances, however, the taxes are very small compared to other financial services or businesses. Even a migrant worker in the middle east who sends money to his poor family has to pay taxes in the remittances.

Of course, if our relatives send money from someone else's employer, then there is definitely a small deduction on it.No matter which country you order money from, there is a lot of deduction, if the deduction is according to the liquor then there is no spice in it.
