Do you like to game with randoms ever?

When it comes to online gaming, do you ever like to game with randoms? As in, just regular gamers you find while playing the game, likely alone or with a person or two. Personally, I hate playing with people I don't know, especially if it's a multiplayer game like Call of Duty. I won't play with a group of people I don't know. I've done it in the past when I first started online gaming, and I don't want to go back to it. I'd rather game with a select few of my friends. What about you?

I don't particularly mind playing with randoms, but yes, it has to be for non-competitive games, that is, they don't affect the competitive rank, because what I'm not going to do is enter ranked games with people I don't know and I dont know what their skills are, and therefore I do not have good communication with them, it would ultimately be a waste of time.
