Do you have to watch training videos?

When it comes to that new job, do you ever watch training videos? Or videos detailing the rules and how to act in the work force? When I was at the call center we had to take these courses about workplace relationships and how to act at work, etc. they were informative but weird.

I have never been on a job in the real world where I had to watch training videos. However, for my virtual jobs, I have been made to watch training videos multiple times. Even to become a forum moderator, I had to watch multiple training videos on a certain site.
