It's very essential to have a good bargaining skill in order to make the most out of your purchases whenever/wherever possible. Do you have a good bargaining/negotiation skill?

I think I am okay at it. I am not as good as my brother. He ended up becoming a car salesman because of it and he has made really good money doing this. He has the charisma too.

Well in my country the fact of negotiation is done more when selling something above all, because here, there is not much the culture of price haggling as it can be in the Middle East or in Arab countries, which is very common, in fact I do not think I am bad in the fact of selling since I am very extroverted and according to people I have charisma but I would have to test myself to find out.

Having good bargaining skills will definitely make you go far in life. You will be in a situation where you have this confidence that you can pull any deal that comes your way, and as far as I am concerned, that is all that matters. I am not surprised that your brother became a car dealer as there is a lot of bargaining that goes on there.

I understand it's vital to have a good bargaining/negotiation skill but I don't like bargaining or negotiation. It stresses me out with the continuous up and down in the process of bargaining/negotiation. Why wouldn't I get things with ease how I wanted without having to start bargaining/negotiation? Why does life have to be full of so much stress? 🙄

It is very true that having a very good negotiating and bargaining skills is something that is going to help you to go far in life because it's something that I've been using for a very long time in so many contract negotiation on some of the jobs that I have worked on as an independent contractor freelancer. I have been able to close deals with high yielding pay because of how good I am with negotiation.

If you're using the good bargaining skills in business, it will help the person conclude on good business deals which would pay him better. They don't teach good bargaining skills in school. It's a skill someone will learn on his own.

Well, I don't think you are doing anything wrong because it is always better for someone who is good at something to handle it. When you force yourself to take charge of bargaining on what is being brought for you, you will end up being a pawn to the person you are bargaining with because they're going to take advantage of you.

This is the reason why most businesses that involves financial dealings are always looking for people who are very good in negotiating skills.
