In the past, I used to own a couple of online stores, my stores where either dropshipping stores or print on demand stores. Currently, I do not own any stores of my own, however, I have stores on a couple of online marketplaces. When I was running my online stores, I was mainly using woocommerce and easy digital downloads for my store.

On some of my sites I had a store as well. It was mostly amazon products and such, but I haven't done much of that in recent years. I've been considering starting another site where I review products and post links to my amazon affiliate link to gain some of the sale. I don't have a traditional store on any of my sites though. One day I'd like to though.

I have used the services of Square Online, Shift4Shop and Squarespace for setting up online store for my business and they have been very good in helping me to make sales. But right now, I'm more interested in making use of Shopify because of how good users say its been from their reviews. I can't miss out on it for long which is why I have already began my preparations.

When I started affiliate marketing for Amazon, Amazon allowed users to replicate the Amazon marketplace,. Users could search for Amazon products on your website and if they like any products, they could finalize the payment on Amazon store. Sadly, they have discontinued the feature. Did you use this feature to create an Amazon store?

If I had my own store it would probably be selling TCG cards or selling my coding services to those in need. I've never had an online store I can make money from, just forum shops where people can use their credits to buy goodies.

The only place where I have an online store is on Facebook marketplace. I've been using it for more than 7 years in selling anything I have. I've sold new items and fairly used items on it. I've heard about Shopify but I don't know to create a store on it.

Shopify is a premium platform., you need to pay at least $29 per moth. I suggest you trey with woocommerce, which is a free plugin on wordpress. By the way, you can also try etsy foir creating an online store.

Thank you for the suggestion @DigitalNomad. Paying $29 per month for the premium platform for a new business is expensive. If the online business doesn't move as expected, you will be in loss before the business will begin to pay.

I haven't seen much of coding services being sold online at least on forum's marketplace. It's sold on Fiverr though and they seem to sell quite well. Should I have good coding skills, I'm definitely going to sell it online across all platforms.

I tried Freelancer before and never had much success and most people need additional skills that I do not have.

There are so many other alternatives to Freelancer that you can look into. Seoclerks is one of them and I will highly recommend it. You can boost your service three times every day to give it more views. This is an advantage of using Seoclerks.

Freelancing platforms are very competitive. If you had started 5 years ago, you would have become very successful by now, however, if you start now, you might never succeed. One of the easiest ways to sell your service is through tutorials. You can creatr coruses oir tutorials videos.

Seoclerks is something I just recently heard about. Doesn't everything there basically involve SEO and not necessarily coding, though?

I hear that! Auctioning off your services is tough when you have as little knowledge as I do in various coding subjects. Most people want you to know server-side languages or JavaScript frameworks to accomplish what they're after.

Even when you are highly skilled, auctioning your service or waiting for someone to buy your gig is very difficult. In order to sell your services, you will need different sets of skills such as writing a good pitch, SEO, and digital marketing, getting a lot of positive reviews etc.
