Do you have an employee of the month?

If you're a business owner, do you ever give out employee of the month awards? If I had a business with employees, I would totally consider it. I think it's great to celebrate how good that employee worked, and to pay it back in a way.

Who here has given out monthly awards for employee of the month?

I do not have an award for "employee of the month." I have never worked in any organization that offered award for "employee of the month." However, I believe this is a good strategy to boost the moral of the staff and encourage them to do better in their job.
