I have over a dozen websites. Some of my websites are niche website, for example, herbal healing, general health, gardening etc. Some of my websites are multi niche, where you can read on different kinds of topics. Some of my websites are user generated content sites and some of my website content are entirely built by me or the ghost writers I hired. Half a dozen website runs adsense ads. The websites that are not monetized with adsense runs media ads, infolinks, etc.

I built my first website in 2015. Since then I have built over 30 websites and sold just about a dozen websites.

Do you have a website? If you don't have a website, what's stopping you to built your first website.

At this time I do not run any websites. My interests are not into running sites, but I don't mind being a part of the memberbase for the sites.

I have a website and it's a Wordpress themed , it's basically for the products I sell, customers can get information about them and place their orders, I'm planning on setting up one for blogging too

Is it a self hosted wordpress site or a free website? If you plan to make money from your website you should always consider using self hosted website.

I have a website but not yet hosted, cos of the exorbitant amount of money it will cost me, made me hang on.

I don't have a website, however, I dream of launching my own website someday. These days I am learning about how to run a website.

You need just 40 minutes to launch your first website. First, watch a 20 minutes video on youtube on how to use wordpress. Then spend rest of the 20 minutes to create your own website.

Creating wordpress website is one of the easiest way to create a website. One must not be a coder with lots of experience in website development. But with little graphics design knowledge he or she can create a wordpress or ojooo.com website.

Absolutely, if you go to YouTube there are lots of simple tutorials on how to create your WordPress website.

While I have not tried ojooo.com website, I can really vouch for self hosted wordpress website.

Okay, i understand you love wordpress cos their is the self hosted type. I really don't know how self hosted WordPress site works. Is the hosting services given out by wordpress free of charge??

In order to use wordpress on self hosted website, you need a domain and web hosting. You can then install wordpress in the server through your web hosting control panel.

Yeah, correct. YouTube got lots of experts that tutor people on how to create a good looking WordPress website. I learned from such experts via YouTube when i created my first free WordPress website.

Okay, I understand that i need to pay for domain and hosting services. Then tell me how it becomes free hosting service, when I'll be paying for all this packages??

You are paying for domain and hosting not for wordpress. Therefore, wordpress remains as a free service to be used on websites.

Okay, now i got you right. Apart from wordpress, is their no other website building software that offers free services??

There are a lot of free website scripts, for example, drupl and Joomla, which are used for big websites with ecommerce functionality or multi sites.

Thank you very much for the tips. I would like to try my hands on developing wordpress site locally.

Developing wordpress locally on your computer takes little skills unlike developing wordpress online via your web hosting control panel manager.

I guess, you still need skills even when you are creating your wordpress site. Installation might be easy, but customization still needs skill, right?

You need skills for customization, however, you do not specialized skills. All you need to use the right theme and plugins and make the theme and plugins work for your site.
