Door bells makes it easy for your visitors to notify you they are around. Knocking on the door can hurt the hand, it was why doorbells were made. I have a doorbell which my visitors uses.

Yes, there's a front door knocker in my house. It's not a bell but you can hear it loud and clear when someone knocks with in. It's old fashioned but effective.

No, we don't have a doorbell at the moment but we used to have one a few years ago. We are hoping to get a ring doorbell at some point this year.
