Do you have a board of directors for your business?

If you have a business or big company, do you have a board of directors? Maybe as the owner you are a part of it and you all vote on matters concerning the company. If I ever started a business, I doubt I would ever have something like a board of directors, but for those big companies, it could be the route to go to make sure the company is safely taken care of. What do you think?

I have worked for companies where they had board of directors, however, I have never in my life run a business where we had a board of directors. I have always managed sole proprietorship businesses.
