Do you get donations?

Have you ever got any donations on your site? (this includes advertisement slots and memberships) I had none on my site, then again we didn't really have the audience to do so!

And that was from just 5 to 6 months!

i have had quite a few offers of donations - but at the points they came i did not consider them earned as i was on a free host and had no costs

My idea was pretty simple!
I had a website with pr3.
So first of all i created a youtube video about how to download using this tool.
I uploaded the script to this pr3 website with "video" subfolder.

Once I started to get around 1000+ page views I bought this new domain and redirected all the traffic to this new domain from my pr3 website's video folder.

The best thing was, the traffic didn't reduce even a little bit!
I still have the video in my youtube account, and I am getting around 1000 views per day for that video, So I guess I can do this stuff again and again!

I've gained around $300 from selling backlinks but other than that haven't received an actual donation, actually I once got a donation of $0.50

I never ask for donations from any website/forum that I've owned.
I have gotten donations for my work that I shared for FREE at a few well known websites/forums,
