As in the code for the site itself, not for the ownership of the domain or anything. I'm just mainly referring to the idea of maybe selling the code of the site, so that if anyone wants to, they can put the code in and have their site ready. Does anyone here do that sort of stuff?

Just ensure that those codes are tested and trusted to build a good reputations... The idea is a very good idea and can build a self fortune at long run..

Sure, when i upgrade my site, i would not have a reason for holding on to the old code. But I will not give my upgraded codes because it will lead to unnecessary competition.

Many website owners have their own different ways of managing their website to the good. Those who upgrade with code, have their aim for that.

I really don't know how to code and I'm not even a website developer. If I want to Design my website the least I do is just to buy domain and hosting and launch it from WordPress

When I was a novice into blogging newly I downloaded template from online c
Sourses and uploaded them to my blogger I didn't really care if they were safe or not

I'm not a website developer and I don't really know how the coding system of a thing works. The best I do is that I use WordPress to start and develop my website

Yes I would sell it after all I wouldn't need it when my website is up and doing. Although to avoid competition I wouldn't give out my upgraded codes. As for the others, I don't really mind.

Good idea, giving them the code for the upgraded version, simply means the person would have the ability to duplicate your site and it would lead to competition like you said and complications as well. But the old codes would be a different design and setup form the new one, so in some ways it's safer that way

I don't code website, I use content management system to build websites. When I build a new website, I do not make a duplicate site, I try to make a site on a new niche.
