Do you earn money with affiliate programs?

I've used several affiliate programs with success to earn money on my forum and blogs including Clickbank and Market Health (specializing in health/beauty niche). Well written, enthusiastic reviews seem to work better to make sales than banners.

What affiliate programs do you use to earn money with? And, what are your affiliate marketing techniques.

I haven't got a chance to earn good money from it. Anyway right now I am trying something for a youtube downloader for mac. Its been 1 month and so far I have managed to make 2 sales!

What techniques are you trying to so far to promote the downloader? Are you working on site like links/reviews or branching out by submitting articles to directories and even creating testimonial/tutorial videos (along with a backlink to the affiliate page for the product?
