Do You Custom Email or Free Email?

As a digital marketer, do you use custom email (an email with your own domain) or a free email? Well, these days I mostly use Gmail. However, in the past I was using custom email. I stopped using custom email because of spam. I could not figure how to stop spam on my inbox.
