Well, I am running online businesses, and I have virtual assistants working for me. I conduct virtual meetings through conference apps like Zoom, Discord, Slack, Telegram, etc. When I was running an offline business, I did not use virtual communication.

There are many businesses that use Skype as well in order to conduct business meetings. Skype is usually used by many businesses in order to interact with related people who may not be available in your country. In fact, even many governmental organisations also conduct virtual meetings as well.

I won't consider making use of Skype for any kind of virtual meeting that I want to carry out with my workers if it is a must that we are going to be in a video conference call. There are so many other better application for me to make use of to carry out this kind of virtual business meeting with my workers. Skype seems to be fading away in my opinion.

There are many other applications as well. One of them is IMO and there are others as well. I would be actually a bit concerned about security and safety of information. Many businesses would be concerned about that as well. This is why they may prefer meeting in person with the other party.

I have known about IMO Chat and Video Messenger for years. If I remembered correctly, it should be around 2014 - 2015 that I first used the application. It didn't last long from my experience and observation because WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger never gave it a chance.
