Do you code your own video player?

With your websites, do you use certain video players? Or do you instead make your own? I was thinking of having someone code a video player for a site of mine. Have anyone here done this for their own sites or for others sites?

I don't use video player on my website and I also don't do coding. However, if you want to use in your website you can find it as an add on or plugin. I think this is a better approach. By the way, I am not in favor of using video player on a website.
