Do you buy land with the view in mind?

When you buy a plot of land, to maybe plant a house on, do you ever buy the land with the view in mind? Like, do you consider the view where the house would be sitting upon? Maybe by a lake, or near a set of mountains. I think a property situated on land like this, could draw in a bigger price tag. What do you think?
